This panorama shows the private garden of the abbey St. Bonifaz in the heart of munich. On the left you can see the basilica. On the construction site in the background a series of new hotels are being built. Normally this garden is closed for public access. But today our little girl participated in the traditional St. Martin's procession, proudly carring her lantern. You can see the light's of the lanterns at the edge of the garden. Is this St. Martin's day celebrated in other countries too?
